Kaitlyn is currently continuing her studies at Ontario College for Health & Technology in the Advanced Standing Massage Therapy Program.
As an Athletic Therapist, Kaitlyn’s main focus is optimal healing to prepare you to return to sport or activities of daily living as quickly as possible. Kaitlyn uses a comprehensive assessment to fully understand your injury. She knows the importance of looking at the body as a whole to determine the nature of the injury, but also the cause of your pain or dysfunction. It is important to treat the cause of the problem, not only the symptoms.
She can assess and treat injuries to the joints and soft tissues of the body. She believes that therapy should take place in the clinic and at home. As part of the treatment program, she will provide you with exercises and advice for self-care to get you back to activities of daily living or back in the game.
“I know the feeling before a big game that lets you know you couldn’t live without this sport. That’s why it is my goal to help every person achieve their maximum level of performance. Whether it’s helping to prevent injuries in the gym or treating current ones, my main focus is getting you back to what you love.”
